Some Interesting Facts about our Team Members

Kim Parrish is a native of Augusta and resides in Evans with her son Blake. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Augusta Tech in 1992. Before joining our team in 2004, she was employed by Georgia Carolina Orthodontics for 10 years.

Kim has been involved in and attended numerous continuing education courses. These courses include: X-ray Certifcation, OSHA Infection Control, Infectious Diseases, CPR Certification, Invisalign, Orthodontic Assistant Certification, Administrative and Insurance Management at Orthodontic Centers of America and various clinical training sessions at OCA.

Kim has been an asset to our growing team with her positive attitude and her team spirit.

Carolyn Vernon is an Augusta native. She resides in Martinez with her husband Randy and sons, Travis and Evan. Carolyn has three grandchildren.

For the past nine years, Carolyn has worked in administration dealing with radiology, vascular and general surgery, as well as orthopedics. She has taken the following continuing education courses: Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Medical Document Processing, and various insurance management courses.

Carolyn is a huge asset to our practice. She has a wonderful personality and loves to make our patients comfortable.

Sherri Norris is an Augustan native. She resides in Martinez with her husband Terry and daughter Sarah. Sherri graduated from Westside High School in 1980 and continued her education at Augusta Technical College in the Dental Assisting Program. Upon completing the program, Sherri was hired by Dr. Dickey as his first employee. She has been employed by him since the beginning of his practice in Endodontics over 20 years ago. Congratulations!!

Sherri has attended and completed numerous continuing education courses. They are: Certification in Microsurgical Endodontics at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation in California, Schuster Center for Professional Development, Marty Levin, Conger Consultants, Charlene White, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, Lessons In Leadership, OSHA, Infection Control, Infectious Diseases, X-ray Certification, CDC Nutrition for the Dental Health Care Team, Office Magic by Patrick Wahl, D.M.D. and Lorraine Hollett, The Levin Group: Teaming Up for Success and CPR Certification.

Sherri is always cheerful and ready to lend a helping hand to her team members.

Leslie Patterson is an Augustan native. She lives with her husband Terry and her youngest son Aaron. Her oldest son, Michael is married and has one child, Drue. Upon completion of her Dental Assisting Program at Augusta Tech, she was employed by the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in the Pedodontics Department for 10 years. She then left MCG to join Dr. Dickey in starting his practice in Endodontics.

Leslie has also been employed by Dr. Dickey for over 20 years. She has attended and completed numerous continuing education courses. Leslie is a kind and considerate person, who is willing to go the extra mile for her patients.

Toni is a native of Aiken, S.C. She resides in Aiken with her husband Robby and their son Austin. They have two dogs, Tippie and Maggie. She graduated the Dental Assisting Program at Aiken Technical College in 1998. Toni has been a dental assistant for 9 years. She is experienced in general, pediatric, and endodontic dentistry. Toni has attended and completed continuing education courses. These courses include Nitrous Oxide, CPR and Infection Control.

Toni is a compassionate and energetic person. She is an asset to our practice and is willing to help others.

Tangi Ann is a native of California and resides in Martinez, GA. She attended the Dental Assisting Program at Aiken Techincal College and transferred to Trident Technical College in Charleston, S.C. where she completed the program. She also completed a six month college level skin care program and became a licensed Esthetician. Tangi previously worked with an endodontist in Charleston, SC. Tangi has attended and completed continuing education courses. These courses include CPR and Infection Control.

Tangi has a very outgoing personality, enjoys working with people, and makes her patients feel at ease. She is the newest addition to our team.
